Pros
Upon hire, new employees follow an intensive, thorough five-week training that covers some aspects of the role (the company, the various systems to use, commercial real estate, proper call etiquette, branding, etc.) - very detailed and sometimes intense too! Training doesn't stop after the class, there is ongoing training sessions that we need to take - the company is clearly committed to continuously train its employees. Huge focus on diversity since last year: the company even hired a Diversity officer to push some programmes and initiatives. Most managers are grown internally because they were successful in the researcher role: that shows that there is potential growth for employees, like me, who are hungry for growth.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind. I know some of my colleagues feel like they are micromanaged but I never felt it. My manager is always taking the time to help and direct me and find ways to meet expectations and provide the most value to the clients.
