4 years of triple time - Instructor Coconino Community College Employee Review

Where do I start? Low pay, especially considering the hours put in. I taught technology and worked typically from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. M-Th and put in a lot of time on Fridays and the weekends for meetings and continuous prep. Last year, I tracked my hours = 2375 for a 9-month contract. I love teaching, but received continuous snarky remarks from supervisor over the 4 years. For example, I arrived late to an 8 a.m. Friday meeting after having taught until 9 p.m. on Thursday. Was docked 1 1/2 hours of sick time (by the way, this is illegal). Quit in continuous frustration with verbal abuse and crappy management. Horrid environment .. the worst I've been associated with in 35 years. Way to go CCC!
