I can honestly say Cognella has been a fantastic experience. From day one, I was warmly welcomed by my team and our culture committee; everyone has been incredibly supportive and helpful. The company culture is truly something special, with a focus on collaboration, inclusivity, and personal growth. Even though I work remotely, I feel genuinely connected to my manager and team. The company offers a wide range of benefits, including remote work and hybrid schedules, strong 401k match, over a dozen paid holidays per year, good health insurance coverage, and even a quarterly wellness cash bonus program, which really shows that they value their employees. The work-life balance is also excellent, with flexible working hours and a generous vacation policy. Another thing I love about Cognella is the level of transparency. The leadership team is very open and honest with employees, including having quarterly all-company meetings where we review our financial performance, what went great and what needs improvements, and employees who have gone above and beyond are given recognition and awards. I’ve never worked at a company that shared the books, so it’s something that I really appreciate. The company also has a strong commitment to social justice which permeates many of our books, something of which I'm proud to be a part. Overall, I would highly recommend Cognella to anyone looking for a supportive and engaging work environment. The people here are smart and friendly and the work we do is truly meaningful. Communication and collaboration across departments needs to be better so we can avoid rework; simple technology changes and updates seem too slow to get implemented
