Pros
Cognitive Space is a great place to work. The problem space is super interesting: optimizing satellite operations with AI and automation. Definitely keeps things challenging in a good way.
We get to build new products from scratch.
One of my personal favorite parts: I get to work with incredibly smart folks (for example, some former NASA engineers). We're passionate about what we’re building, and there’s a real culture of learning. If you love picking up new things and pushing yourself, you’ll fit right in.
The skills I’ve picked up here have been huge for me, and that feels really good.
Work-life balance is solid. Benefits are good. Leadership is supportive (It's obvious they really care about us not just as workers, but as people). The work is meaningful.
If you’re into solving complex problems with a team of brilliant people, this is the place.
Cons
No company is perfect, but there aren't any major cons that stand out beyond the usual challenges of an early-stage company. In my opinion, the cons are also pros if you like the challenges associated with helping build a company.
