Nepotism. Toxic environment. Micromanagers act like brainiacs yet they know nothing about the process, just point fingers and spit demands from their desks. Add headcounts just to create new projects instead of relieving the overload of others. SEVERELY LOW PAY COMPARED TO MARKET. Miniscule 2-3% merit increases IF they decide to do it that year. No bonuses. DON'T BELIEVE THE SALARY ESTIMATES SHOWN ON THIS WEBSITE, THEY ARE ARTIFICALLY INFLATED BY $30-50K. SUPER INACCURATE. Seems like Coherent corp submitted many false salary reports. Doesn't make any sense. I work here and would know. No1 is happy with compensation other than maybe the head of engineering. No raises again this year despite another profitable year. Really becoming laughable at this point. I won't be staying much longer as I am actively looking to get out of here and never look back
