Pros

Most people you work with are great. Great training tools for you and agents. Great position for a self starter who is able to work alone.

Cons

Your position is only valid if the market and your agents are doing very well. Very poor communication between senior management, with each other as well as the managers. On occasion decisions were made by personnel that had no idea of how that process was actually completed at the bottom level.

Pros

CBSFOC has an above-fair training program. The back/front office staff will handle your concerns--and will even remind you of your concerns as needed--in a timely manner. The culture is more sociable and less stiffly professional than the average corporate environment. Management is supportive in general to the extent they are able.

Cons

The leads that you will receive through the ZAP system have a dismal conversion rate. While it is tempting and convenient to place blame for sales difficulty on an agent's supposed lack of persistence or persuasiveness, it is awfully difficult to close deals with clients who only have debt to their name. You may prospect to your hearts content, but I advise anyone who is considering this line of work to come with contacts ready to buy, sell, rent, or rent out real estate NOW and not just in the future.
