Horrible Place To Work - Research Assistant Collaborative NeuroScience Network Employee Review

Pros

Every month they have food trucks on the first Friday. Most people are relatively nice.

Cons

There is no training. You’re thrown into situations you’ve never seen before and reprimanded for not doing things correctly. Everyone gossips constantly. Pay is horrible for how much they expect you to do. Expect them to ask you to stay for overtime. They are constantly accepting new studies and are severely understaffed. All of this has been mentioned to management and they simply do not care. Management will promise a lot and not deliver. Dr. Walling has a lot of requirements that need to be met to get one of their “bonuses” and expect you to stay late and come in early and skip lunches to reach those goals to get money from the sponsors which essentially ends up being ~$150 . Clinic also treats the patients terribly. They don’t care that they are human beings. They will also lash out at you, scream at you, gossip about you behind your back for no real reason. Outreach seems to only target black and brown populations for their studies, which seems extremely unethical. This place is not a healthy work environment.
