Pros

most of the Pros are gone now. Our work hours are locked in 7-4 m-f all weekend off.

Cons

This company offer no yearly review for employees and no raise at all.. Basically what you make will never change until the US Dept of Ed says so. At that point CTi will cut your bonus compensation significantly. No company pension for older employees. Possibly the worst insurance selection offered at any employer Ive ever worked for. They also only match your 401k up to 4%. Rules literally change daily and its your responsibility to make sure your aware of the changes whether your mgr informs you or not. No growth for advancement in the support/ admin department. Everything basically works thru favoritism. There are 2 offices but the Headquarters (where i work) is worst off.. Hardly any company meetings and feedback about whats going on at the other office. This company leads and strings their employees along. Its up to you how much you can take. Alot of promises are made and lies are told. We cant listen to music in a single headphone and no ambient music or sound. very draining and stressfull doing repetitve work with out any sound. Employees arent even aloud to engage in side chatter for a few seconds.. Were supposed to be robotic.

Pros

You don't have to have a degree to work there and it used to be a place you could make money. Their well is drying up and fast though.

Cons

At this point it's clear that they are going out of business. They weren't able to obtain the Department of Education contract so they do not have much to offer as far as paper to collect on. They attempted to sub contract with another agency, but that fell through once they realized what CTi had to offer. They blamed it on the Department of ED and still everyone knows what really happened they bailed once they saw CTi was a joke. They constantly lie to employees trying to get the morale up, but no one believes anything they say anymore; including that we're still vying for the contract. They are going out of business soon anyway so soon there will not be any cons to write about.
