Besides all that, I am here to share an HR story that can be a highlight of my career stories.
I am an Asian American. Once, I had to call a senior HR director to discuss an event. When we just connected on the Teams call, the HR Sr. Director called my name wrong (another Asian name). I addressed her with my correct name, but instead of acknowledging her mistake, she insisted I was another Asian and even pulled up that person's team's photo and said, "Isn't this you?". I mean, how wrong could this be, like I don't even know my own name and face? Mind that this is a HR management...
Some teams can act as superior the others just because they are the cash cow of the company.
