Pros

+ Great Colleagues, most of the staff is super caring and fun to be around. + Good vacation time and some other nice benefits like a T-Pass and cellphone reimbursement. + The office is in a nice and convenient location.

Cons

- There was a deep lack of role clarity, and I had no idea how to get promoted or ask for a raise (even though they said there were opportunities for growth). I got little to no professional guidance, and when I did it was because I sought out those opportunities on my own. - When I raised concerns about my role or needs they were not heard or valued, and I was made to feel like they were not taken seriously and that asking for things like role clarity, help with prioritization, and professional support was unreasonable and not important. Overall, I did not feel very valued at this organization. - There was also definitely a feeling of favoritism from the senior leadership, especially the CEO, and it was made clear that I was not part of the "important" crowd. My professional confidence was shattered here and I really recommend looking elsewhere if you are a young professional looking for growth. - There was also a lack of commitment to diversity, and they absolutely did not "walk the walk" with that.

flex-hours, work-life balance, lots of opportunity to make an impact with your work, given a lot of freedom to take ownership of projects, culture of learning and support for coworkers

Cons

cyclical nature of education can be stressful during certain months, a newer organization so you must be comfortable with uncertainty, no retirement match
