Pros
As an instructor, you can create your schedule and work independently. You can work during the mornings, evenings or weekends. You are not obligated to work a minimum number of hours or certain days. This is a contract-based job.
Cons
Pay is good, however, don't expect salary raises anytime soon. The courses you teach are contingent on minimum student enrollment, so you'll not be guaranteed to teach. Lack of promotion for continuing education courses has resulted in the cancellation of multiple courses.
