Pros
- Flexible working hours - The product
Cons
- VERY unstable company. To all people wanting to join the Colvin Group, be aware of this: they carried out different mass layoffs last year and the current one. I think it's highly important that you know this before applying to any role here, because nothing assures you that you'll still have a job in 6 months' time. - Low salaries and it's very difficult to get a raise. Forget about a salary review after one year of working there. What you get when you join the company is what you'll still have 2-3 years later (even though your responsibilities have increased). - Teams don't collaborate with other departments, and there's a huge lack of communication between them. Besides, there're plenty of blockers caused by the Tech team that makes it very difficult for other teams to keep doing their tasks and reach OKRs without their support. But the Tech team is always busy and you'll be waiting months until you get an answer. - A huge lack of onboarding information. In some teams, it's essential that you know a lot about the product (flowers and plants, and how that market works) to carry out your tasks properly. But the truth is that no one gives you any training about it. Even the commercial team didn't know about flowers and had to pretend they were experts in front of clients. Very sad.
