CEO/Owner has a total lack of understanding of how to properly run a business/manage employees, and has no idea how to treat people professionally. He shows no respect towards his employees, and throws childish fits if someone approaches him with constructive criticism. He considers it a personal attack, and then responds by sending passive-aggressive emails addressing unrelated issues. During interviews, he will promise great earning/advancement potential, neither of which are attainable with the commission plan he uses, and the base pay is well below the market standard. If something goes wrong, he finds someone to place blame on; If something goes well, he accepts the praise for himself. He talks poorly of his own employees behind their back as an immature way of improving his own self-respect. He doesn't care about growing the company because he would have to pay benefits to consultants. As a result, he provides no guidance or training to new Recruiters or Account Managers. He is rarely present in the office, taking frequent extended vacations, only to return and accuse his employees of "not working hard enough to make the company money." He provides no leadership, and does nothing to promote (or deserve) loyalty or respect of his employees or clients.
