Pros

Making a difference in people’s lives is very fulfilling.

Cons

Their training is a joke, the pay is a joke, the non existent benefits are a joke. They will hire ANYONE to take care of your loved ones. They don’t hire CNA’s because they would have to pay them more and we all know that CNA’s make very little money. Required to work every other weekend and most assignments are only 4 hours. So you sometimes get decent hours followed by here’s 8 hours total for the week. Can’t pay bills like that. No mileage (unless you take client somewhere) expected to drive to clients homes on your own dime. If client is 35 miles away it’s going to cost you a minimum of $6 in gas just to work 4 hours @ $13/hr. You get fleeced and so do the elderly at the crazy prices they charge them. Just a middleman who does a drug and background check and sits back to collect that fat paycheck. No disrespect to the caregivers because the only thing that will keep you there is if you truly enjoy helping people and/or desperation. Please don’t work for this unethical company that pretends to care about people and please don’t use their services to take care of your loved ones. You will get the same level of care hiring someone off the street for thousands of dollars less. Just vet them yourself.

Pros

Great pay and benefit opportunities. The message of the company is good and the owners are incredibly welcoming. They provided all the equipment and were quick to get you whatever you needed.

Cons

The office environment was extremely toxic. It was very "cliche" with everyone saying awful things about each other. Yelling, slamming and throwing things was a regular occurrence. The lack of empathy towards the clients as well as caregivers was abhorrent. The training was lackluster with the view of corrective action instead of preventive action with mistakes. I was constantly ignored or snapped at when asking questions. After spending a day training at another office, I fully believe the toxicity is centered around this one office in particular and does not translate over to the other offices.
