The Mangagement in hospice and the Ambulatory Operations Department is the worst! I have never seen a more disorganized, mismanaged company in my many decades of working. The management has no hospice experience and they don't know how to manage staff or a company. They ran off 7 nurses, cancelled 29 home hospice families, very rude to the Families, and one manager walked off the job and never came back due to the upper management. One of the higher ups closed down Porter Place and they let her keep her job and now shut down the hospice program. 2 nurses who lost their work after 10 months, were pushed into taking $500/week less or get laid off and have to pay back their bonuses; the management has them bending all over the place. The other nurses were forced to rotate being on-call at night for death visits and had to do all their visits during the day shift, as well, on no sleep! Very unsafe, uncaring, and very hostile environment.
