Pros

Laid back work from home environment, You will work from home most of the week. Not a huge user base so the work load is pretty thin at times.

Cons

The pay for what you actually do is brutally low. CEO of the company counts pennies like no tomorrow, so raises are a joke and minimal at best. They prey on workers trying to get into the industry and exploit their knowledge and work ethic for their own benefit. Company has a huge problem with nepotism, There is a core group of workers that were hand picked by the CEO and placed into management positions. These workers typically never do their job and expect everyone else who is making 30x less than their salary to do everything for them. Higher ups get 1 week PTO every month and leave the workload to be resolved by their underlings. There is zero upward mobility for this role as well. you are stuck in the same position and pay no matter how much you prove yourself. Also there is HORRIBLE organization and communication issue within the company. Things are never done on time, certificates constantly expiring, Deadlines and viable information is never shared to the team properly.

Pros

Great place for beginners looking to get hands-on IT experience. You’re given the opportunity to work with a wide range of systems and technologies, and the team is very flexible and easy to work with. Management is reasonable when it comes to PTO and time off, and work-life balance is respected. Everyone is kind, helpful, and willing to step in when you’re stuck or need guidance. Even when tickets are challenging, the team supports you through them. I’d definitely recommend this role to anyone starting out in IT or looking to build a strong foundation.

Cons

Because it’s a smaller organization, career progression beyond help desk roles can be limited and may take a long time. Opportunities to move into specialized areas like security or networking aren’t always available. Pay is on the lower end, and salary growth tends to be gradual over a longer period of time.
