- Laid back atmosphere - Good mobility - Hands-off management (for the most part) - Company is willing to pay you to train for your next job
Cons
- Pay is far below market value, especially if you get promoted. You will get, at max, a 6% increase, regardless of what the position would pay if you were hired from outside. - Pay is low - Did I mention the pay? - Because pay is low, it is hard to get quality employees - Because it is hard to get quality employees, there is more work than people to do it. - A few managers read too many "How to be a leader" books
