Pros
The coding managers that I've had have been great. The work culture is positive and professional.
Cons
Aside from the 3% cost of living raise, there are no raises based on performance or merit. The medical, dental and vision plans have the worst coverage of anywhere I've ever worked. It sounds good because it's BCBS and Delta, but the contracts they negotiate are terrible as far as coverage goes yet the premiums are the highest I've ever paid. I realize this is happening to a lot of people these days, but comparatively speaking, CHS is still on the worse end of the spectrum.
