Good learning experience - Social Worker Community Maternity Services Employee Review

The people I work with are great!

There is no way to grow in the company. Pay for the position is not adequate.

They will give you a chance with minimal experience in the field

Higher management is extremely toxic and manipulative . Lack of support and follow through. On call where you are expected to come be a direct support person when they have no workers. The staff trigger and argue with patients . Then come get you the social worker to deal with it . You cannot conduct any type of therapy, it is not conducive to a therapeutic environment at farano house specifically , you have people ramming into the walls, someone knocking (including staff who have no boundaries ) every 5 mins and people slipping suicide notes under your door, while trying to do “therapy” . Supervision is almost obsolete, no training . The pay is atrocious and insulting.
