Pros

Amazing leadership that really takes care of the entire team. The values are lived out from the top down. There is excellent training provided for each role. If you want to grow in this company, there are always opportunities to grown and advance.

Cons

Social work can be really challenging. But it is worth it! You get to make a huge difference in people's lives.

Pros

Working at Compass SLS/ILS has been a meaningful experience for me for the last 7 years. The company truly prioritizes client quality of life, and you can see that reflected in the care and support provided by the teams. There is a strong sense of purpose in the work, and leadership does recognize employees who go above and beyond. I’ve also had opportunities to grow professionally, take on leadership responsibilities, and be involved in projects outside of my direct role.

Cons

The workload can be very heavy and at times feels unsustainable, especially during staffing shortages or crisis situations. Communication is necessary between departments. 24/7 emergency support when on call can also be draining and makes it difficult to fully disconnect or recharge outside of work.
