Pros

The flexible scheduling of visit times allows for a nice distribution of client cases. I love that patients are very appreciative and welcoming of NP visits. This makes me feel accomplished with my role as a caregiver and practitioner. Also, clients show a great deal of interest and appreciation for the visits they receive. I am able to utilize my skills as an NP to provide physical assessments, recommendations and education. I really love the team approach to care and have a fantastic group of NPs that work effectively together. The benefits are exceptional!!!!! To be honest, I was apprehensive about taking on the role at first, but I am sooooooo happy I did! I decided to take a chance and accept a job with Complexcare solutions, and am proud to say that I absolutely love my job with the company and can see myself here for many years!

Cons

The only issue (which was a personal self learning curve and not necessarily a con on the side of the company or role) In starting my role, it did take me about two weeks to get in sync with the computer system. Once I found a comfort with the navigation within the system, that concern was resolved :)

Pros

Great supplemental income when work is available 25 slot monthly Fair compensation An overall good company for supplemental income if you are not going to solely depend on it to pay your bills, because it could be feast or famine, but that is the expectations for per diem jobs Flexible with coverage locations

Cons

Mandated to provide 25 slots even when there is no work No clear, or little to no communication when there is no work, that time could be used for a hobby, relaxation etc. It is frankly unfair to do this to employees; I would appreciate a change in this practice. Wellness is important, instead of preaching about diversity and wellness, better practices that benefit employees would be more useful. Hope this helps with quality improvement
