Pros

All pros have been outweighed by cons in the past few months

Cons

If you have worked here in the past 6 or so months you have experienced their new venue manager Junior, who has an awful temper, no self control and seems to be power hungry. His leadership style comes off as micromanaging, nit-picking and jumping to conclusions before seeking to understand employees. Amongst staff we have discussed what appears to be a complete lack of experience when it comes to managing people. Furthermore, he has been rumored to make demeaning comments to staff members. Nepotism is prevalent. All management practices favoritism by hiring their own friends, hiring friends of friends, being condescending to everyone except for those friends, and fails to provide appropriate feedback to the employees that are doing their job well. Certain staff in the office have been there for many years and seem to be provided "protection" even though they are rude and disrespectful to others. HR does not seem to penalize this “protected” staff or upper management. In my opinion, HR does not show a great enough sense of urgency or willingness to take appropriate action on many things brought to their attention. Immensely high turnover in the past 6-8 months for the above reasons as well as a toxic work environment. You can check their Facebook or instagram and see they are constantly trying to fill the same open positions. That is not a case of a disgruntled employee. This looks more like several employees who refuse to work with the type of management that conga has hired. In my opinion it looks like upper management is happy about losing employees so regularly because they want to hire their own friends. I have worked at several venues in LA and none have been as toxic as this. At some point they have to realize the reason that people aren’t happy starts at the top.
