Pros

A few members of the staff are enjoyable to collaborate with, and the children are fantastic for the most part.

Cons

1. Toxic Work Environment: A negative workplace culture can breed stress, anxiety, and dissatisfaction among employees, leading to low morale and decreased productivity. 2. Poor Leadership: Bad administration can result in unclear direction, lack of support, and arbitrary decision-making, making it challenging for employees to perform their jobs effectively. 3. Micromanagement: Constant oversight and micromanagement can stifle creativity, hinder autonomy, and create a sense of distrust between supervisors and employees. 4. Implicit Bias: Implicit bias can result in unfair treatment, unequal opportunities, and a lack of inclusivity, creating a divisive and discriminatory atmosphere within the workplace. 5. Authoritarian Leadership: Working under a dictatorship-like regime can lead to a culture of fear, where employees feel oppressed, silenced, and unable to voice concerns or offer suggestions for improvement. 6. Limited Professional Growth: In such an environment, opportunities for professional development and advancement may be scarce, as creativity and innovation are often stifled, and employee contributions are undervalued. 7. Emotional Toll: Constant exposure to a negative work environment can take a significant emotional toll on employees, leading to burnout, increased absenteeism, and overall decreased well-being. 8. Negative Impact on Students: A toxic work culture and poor leadership can trickle down to negatively affect students' learning experiences, as teachers and staff may be demotivated, disengaged, and unable to provide the support and guidance students need. Overall, working in such a challenging environment can be detrimental to both the professional and personal well-being of employees, ultimately impacting the quality of education provided to students.
