Pros

Thank you for your review of site works. We pay OT and PH benefits based on the Employment Act. Where OT is paid at 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 accordingly. Hence we do not shortchange employees. If OT is RM10/hr, you have a high salary bracket - non compulsory for OT payments. PH work are given as Replacement Leave. After confirmation, all annual leaves are added from your first day of work. Unused leaves are encashed every year. We have employee pulse surveys with employee feedback sessions, perhaps this person was mistaken because he didnt take part. We have many employee culture and wellness programs, with high employee loyalty.

Cons

6-day week is correct. It's the industry. Due to the nature of construction industry, we need to follow these protocol, choose construction, choose 6-day.

Pros

allowance and claims, decent basic salary. an okay company for fresh grads. If your position is HQ based, I think this company would be decent one for you but you are site- based, it is not that compensating.

Cons

Lack of guidance and support for new staffs. Very bad document controlling system. Drawing logs is never updated, with bad file names and codes. One way communication since the head of project only instruct and never listened to the real problem. As much as they claim to be the biggest landscape company in Malaysia, it is actually still a small company, expect to multitask. During the 6 months probation period, you are not entitled to any AL or medical benefit, which I find troublesome since I work at site and exposed to danger. OT is paid rm10/hour only and if you have to work on PH, you get LIL, which is not par to the OT rate on PH. Site based people work 6 days per week. I choose to leave since the work scope is not aligned to my career goals and I am after the work-life balance.
