Pros

-You’ll learn how to spot red flags in toxic work environments. -Meeting a few kind coworkers, though most are just trying to survive the same system.

Cons

-Manipulative leadership and emotionally exploitative culture. -12+ hour workdays with no real pay unless you're constantly recruiting. -Fake "business trips" that are just being sent to sell in different cities. -Forced to appear in social media videos to maintain the illusion of a happy workplace. -Morning meetings full of empty hype and no real training. -Misleading job titles — no actual leadership unless you bring in new recruits. -Told to cut off family and friends who questioned the company. -No transparency about what the job really entails — mostly aggressive, commission-based sales at supermarkets. -Leadership uses gaslighting to keep you compliant and isolated. -Personal relationships suffer — I lost my husband because of the pressure and control this job had over me.

Working as a Recruiting Coordinator has been a highly rewarding experience. The role has allowed me to develop strong organizational and communication skills while supporting the full recruitment process. I’ve enjoyed collaborating with both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved. It’s a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, adaptability, and a strong sense of professionalism, all of which have helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

The role can be demanding, especially with goals and targets to meet, but it creates an opportunity to develop discipline, confidence, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Pros

Consultive Strategy Group is a great place for people who are highly driven and want to grow quickly. The environment is very performance-based, which means you’re recognized and rewarded for what you produce, not just how long you’ve been there. Leadership development is a big focus — you’re not just working a job, you’re learning how to train, lead, and build a team. If you take the coaching seriously, you’ll develop strong communication, sales, and leadership skills that translate beyond the role. The culture is energetic and goal-oriented. You’re surrounded by people who are pushing for more, which can be really motivating if you’re the type of person who thrives in that kind of environment.

Cons

It’s not for everyone. The pace is intense, and the expectations are high. If you’re not self motivated or you need a lot of structure handed to you, you’ll struggle here. There’s a big emphasis on attitude and mentality, which is great for growth, but can feel overwhelming at times if you’re not fully bought in.
