Pros
Not a lot. Its a small company which is extremely disorganized and mismanaged. The only pro is the good pay.
Cons
- They pay good. And they do so, so they can only lay you off later without giving you a reason. - This company is notorious for hiring a lot of employees and then letting them go. - Zero career progression. - The location is terrible. The town Tumbler Ridge doesn’t even have Tims. - You have to literally beg for your relocation allowance. They will make you send receipts and scrutinize them before paying you. In oil sands where I used to work, they would pay a lump sum for your relocation. - Safety is zero. Nobody cares for safety. They would tell you they dont have any incidents which is a lie. I myself was involved in an incident when my foot fell in a drill hole, but that was not reported as a safety incident. - The management is super cocky and mostly works from home in Vancouver. They have zero interest in EITs and how they should progress. They will ask you to cover for survey when its negative 40 outside even though thats not your job. - All in all, I would stay away from this company. Working for this company was the worst decision of my life and I learnt it the hard way.
