Pros

Some really great people on the team There is a real opportunity in the candidate engagement market.

Cons

They preach how employers should treat their candidates with respect - maybe the same should be said for current employees. For a startup, really off-putting divide between leadership team and rest of team, hard to keep everyone motivated that way. There is no real culture.

Pros

- Quick advancement, if you're good, people will notice and you'll get more responsibility - Still young enough that you can elbow your way into handling something you think is interesting that isn't necessarily in your job description - A lot of progress has been made in expanding the recruiting framework for technical hires, looks like that is about to pay a big dividend soon - Company was able to raise a B round to fund this hiring expansion - At a high level, money seems to be spent on people and tools versus gimmicks and cliché "startup" purchases like ten ping pong tables

Cons

- Not everyone comes to work with the level of urgency they should have in a startup. Every new recruiting class has helped to dampen this presence, but it's still there to some extent. A couple people want to play startup vs. internalize how much of an impact they do (or don't) make
