It’s important to acknowledge that Copperleaf has undergone significant transformation since its acquisition in late 2024. These changes were necessary. While the former culture was valued by some, it was not commercially sustainable, and the business required a shift in mindset, structure, and pace to support long-term growth and impact. High-growth organizations demand agility, accountability, and often, a different set of capabilities and attitudes—this can understandably feel disruptive to those who were more closely tied to the legacy model. We categorically reject any accusations of discrimination or unethical behavior. Copperleaf has clear policies and procedures in place to uphold fairness, respect, and compliance in all hiring and people-related decisions. Allegations around promotions or terminations being based on appearance or favoritism are simply not aligned with our values or the professional standards we hold ourselves to.
