Pros

Paycheck clears. Well, most of the time, that is...

Cons

As so many others have shared, this place is highly toxic with zero vision, has put all their eggs in a one-hit wonder product (AI detection) that isn't aging well and is far cry from the accuracy claimed, and pays laughable salaries. While most are motivated to succeed at the team and individual level, I've never been a part of a culture where so many are wishing for things to fail at the company level. It's baffling. But then again, when you dig deeper, it's really not. As the saying goes, a fish rots from the head: -CEO: zero real-word experience, and it shows. Zero presence, zero vision, zero value-add. A figure head with zero finger on the pulse of *his* business, he gives way too much control to the COO while hiding in the background. -COO: drama queen if there ever was one: chases and causes all sorts of chaos, all in the name of feeding a delicate ego. The most unethical person I've had the pleasure of meeting, he'll lie to your face and to clients to get what he wants, is having a personal (read: sexual) relationship with a subordinate which *he shared with the entire company*, and the CEO is too obtuse care about, and is literally despised across the business. This is the type of person that you'd never entertain having in your life. -CTO: reflect back for a moment and recall the great collaborators who offered support. Who took the time to get to know you as a person, listened to and acted on feedback, and was a true partner who offered solutions. Now, think the opposite and you have...this person. Like the two others, has no business being in his role.

Pros

Copyleaks provides innovative AI-powered solutions to meet the present and future challenges of an increasingly AI powered world. Leadership is transparent and engaged across the entire organization. All ideas are welcome, and collaboration isn't just encouraged; it is an essential part of the culture. Compensation is competitive, and good work is recognized and celebrated. Great benefits. A hybrid work schedule allows for a good work-life balance.

Cons

As a startup, we are still in growth mode which means that certain roles haven't been created yet so you sometimes need to move beyond your comfort zone. There isn't any 401k matching at this point, but that is all on the horizon.

Pros

Most coworkers were good people that wanted to do a good and honest job.

Cons

Upper management didn't share that same sentiment.
