Pros

Remote company, clear roles, great people to work with, lots of time to onboard. Summer Fridays (half days!), unlimited sick time, and respect for work life balance. Almost everyone has families so management is understanding with needing to leave to pick up kids or if kids are sick. Lots of on the job training and working groups to join to increase skills. In-person conferences allow for team building.

Cons

Deadlines can get fairly tight but only because the company wants to accomodate any last minute changes the client may have. The IT company also could be better.

Pros

The flexibility of telecommuting is one of the major selling points for Corrona and it is indeed great. There is a lot of flexibility in terms of where you live, and a reasonable amount of flexibility in terms of work hours. I have a good amount of autonomy in the day-to-day performance of my job. I have also been given the opportunity to mentor others.

Cons

Like many rapidly growing companies, Corrona sometimes has issues with resource allocation and communication. Responsibilities and deadlines may not be communicated clearly, leading to confusion, duplication of work, and last minute crunches. Additionally, employees are sometimes left with insufficient support on projects. Corrona emphasizes it's commitment to diversity and inclusion, but it doesn't always live up to those ideals. Management is largely white, even in departments where the workforce is racially diverse. If you or loved ones are LGBT+ the workplace is not generally hostile and some efforts seem to have been made, but there are things that could easily be done to make the environment more inclusive and welcoming. Similarly, it does not seem like much thought has been given to how to make the company environment welcoming to people with family structures/responsibilities other than the conventional U.S. spouse and kids.
