      some great minded people with a true passion for photography. nice offices.

      a corporate culture at it's worst: no risk taking, everyone is busy protecting their back, email obsessed, unhealthy competition between NY and Seattle office, constant layoffs, useless meetings, arrogance.

      Pros

      Amazingly friendly coworkers, great tech stack and opportunities to learn. SWEs have the opportunity to wear a lot of hats.

      Cons

      Management had some issues from what I heard, but I was always too busy developing and improving great products. It was a tough market with the ever-shrinking stock photography market, which was likely the reason for it's demise. If the developers working at Corbis had a more relevant market fit, the company would have soared.
