Pros
The only reason I stayed as long as I did is because I really loved my IT Asset Management team members they were the absolute best! We always helped each other out, we were willing learn new things, and there a great sense of admiration and comrade between team members.
Cons
1) The amount of work is quite substantial for one person 2) I often felt that my concerns regarding workload and task complexity were not being fully acknowledged. There was a disconnect between management's expectations and the realities of the tasks at hand, which made it challenging for me to meet those expectations effectively. 3) The current compensation levels do not align with industry standards. 4) I recognized that our team was relatively new and that our role within the organization may not be fully understood by others and even management. This lack of clarity about what we did posed great challenges for us in terms of collaboration and support.
