Pros
As a current manager who has been with the company for over a couple years, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with teams across branches, support departments, and senior leadership. One of the standout positives is the organization’s commitment to innovation. They consistently invest in technology advancements to remain competitive, which is impressive for a company of our size. I've also had several opportunities to get involved in meaningful organizational initiatives, which has allowed me to broaden my skill set and gain exposure to different areas of the business. While working in a smaller company often means wearing multiple hats, I see this as a valuable opportunity for growth and learning. For those who are self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to do the right thing, Cornerstone can be a great place to succeed and thrive.
Cons
Like many organizations, Cornerstone has faced staffing challenges in recent years, which has at times placed additional pressure on employees. This can understandably cause some frustration, and I've seen this reflected in other reviews. However, from my experience working with leaders and support teams, there’s a genuine effort to address these challenges and improve the overall work environment. This year we have added three float positions to our retail team which is another example of how far Cornerstone is willing to go to adapt to member and team member needs.
Overall Advice:
For those considering a role here, I’d recommend being proactive, adaptable, and focused on delivering results. Bringing a positive attitude and a strong work ethic will go a long way in finding success at Cornerstone.
