Pros

Low and mid-level workers at this company are overwhelmingly talented, most of them self-motivated, good people, forming small groups to complete tasks efficiently. Rare bad apples. When I left, there was ONE good person in HR and one "okay" person in HR protecting the common people from the ones in HR who were more on the company's side. Both have since left.

Cons

I became aware that some people were treated unfairly and this became unbearable knowledge for me, ultimately caused me to leave the company. Like anywhere, "in" groups are rewarded, but in this company being "in" means being extroverted, losing your ethnic accent, turning a blind eye strategically. Sometimes you're simply ignoring a person goofing off (okay, whatever), but other times you are ignoring incompetence, or ignoring a person being mistreated (not okay).

Pros

Decent benefits, pleasant people. Overall a good work environment in a growing organization. They try to keep employees engaged in the mission.

Cons

Management receives training on how to treat and motivate employees, then they throw it out the window and continue doing the same ole.

Pros

The commitment of the employees is easily the strongest attribute of this company. The vision that former CEO George Levicki had to provide innovative dental services still rings true. The company is trying to advance from the Mom and Pops shop of the past to a Corporate player in the future.

Cons

Leadership in key areas is still doing business the old way. Not a lot of autonomy and flexibility to attract progressive workers and future employees. Fresh ideas and perspectives are not looked upon favorably sometimes. Lots of change and growing pains.
