Pros
Fantastic experience for final-year students or recent graduates. For those looking to get into support work, working with people classified as SEMH or SEND, this is a wonderful opportunity. All of upper management is lovely and passionate about helping disabled students receive the support they deserve. Despite low pay, the work is incredibly rewarding on a professional and a personal level. You also have the opportunity to make a little extra by covering other people's shifts when needed.
Cons
Zero hour contract, unreliable hours. Minimum wage or just slightly above.
