Pros
* Decent pay rate considering its independent contract tutoring * Platform is pretty clean and easy to navigate. Plus, they recently updated it so all operations are done on the platform now * The people who run the company are really nice * The company tries to keep tutors in the loop at all times * Lots of supplementary materials for tutors to utlilize
Cons
* Base pay just dropped by $3 in favor of a bonus program * New bonus program is dependent entirely on the students and is out of the tutor's hands * Getting sessions scheduled has been a massive pain * The people who run the company are nice, BUT there is very little training on how to get sessions scheduled, how to find more students, or what help is available for tutors with fewer sessions * You're required to block off availability, but if you don't get any sessions in that time then you've just wasted precious workable hours on nothing
