Pros

The people are mostly talented and offices are nice.

Cons

They pay really badly. You won’t get what you deserve. Strong culture of favoritism: you’d better catch the VPs' eyes on day one if you want a chance at moving up in this agency. They love competition, so much so that it becomes toxic on a daily basis. Zero empathy for different personalities or anyone more sensitive than average. Watch out for the massive egos that have been polluting the place for the past few years...

Pros

You inevitably get to put McDonalds on your resume? Work/life balance is good, because they don't have much work.

Cons

A washed up agency that only gets big clients because they are the big old dinosaur in town. But don't get too excited about the 'big clients' because Canada doesn't actually have big clients, aside from McDonalds. Clueless leadership that's shoving AI down everyone's throats in a desperate bid to appear innovative. Each individual office has no idea what the other is doing or how they are doing it, meaning that their big sell on a huge network and 'collaboration' is a farce. Really poor creative chops and instincts. The focus is on gaming the work to win awards rather than letting good work speak for itself. Actively losing clients and pitches for new business, and recent layoffs. It's gotten so desperate that they removed snacks from the breakroom just to pinch a few more pennies. Highly accounts led at the detriment of creative and strategy. Accounts teams are bloated and senior leaders continue to get promoted despite poor performance and negative feedback. The most talented in the mix get forced out or leave on their own after being met with constant battles against mediocre work and leadership. Another agency that loves to cosplay being diverse and inclusive, but is neither. You'll be forced to sit through performative presentations and celebrations so they can pat themselves on the back. Below market pay.
