Pros

Depending on where you work and your role, you can have access to some of the best data assets in the industry. This is great for quants.

Cons

As good as the company's models are, their technology for delivering to customers is a decade out of date and because their CFO has them in defensive mode, the company is not investing in needed technology and infrastructure upgrades. The company is heavily dependent on mortgage origination volumes and the forecast for the next few years is not rosy. Also, compensation at the highest levels is exceptional but it falls of markedly once you get to the director level. Director and below comp is atrocious.

Pros

- The company genuinely prioritizes employee mental health and well being, which is refreshing. - They have honored their commitment to a flexible hybrid work model, and the engaging ERG events on in office days make you want to be there. - It is a culture that rewards team players with a strong work ethic. - As a smaller company, you feel like your contributions truly matter.

Cons

- While benefits are provided, including the great half day well being days, the primary health insurance is a plan with a high deductible rather than a standard copay model, which could be an area for improvement.

Pros

Camp L.I.F.T. is an incredible example of how Cotality brings its values to life through community impact and innovation. The program creates a meaningful opportunity to give back by inspiring young students to explore STEM, financial literacy, and leadership, while also fostering strong collaboration across teams and partners such as Foot Locker, Octane, ISACA, Google, and Cognizant. It’s truly energizing to be part of something that not only makes a difference for students, but also builds a strong sense of purpose and pride among employees.

Cons

There are very few downsides to the experience—if anything, the week goes by too quickly and it’s hard to choose which activities or sessions to be part of because there are so many great moments happening at once.
