Customer Interaction Challenges: Dealing with difficult or rude customers can be emotionally draining and requires strong conflict resolution skills. 6. Limited Benefits: Many waiter, server, and bartender positions do not offer comprehensive benefits like health insurance or retirement plans. 7. Work-Life Balance: Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are common, which can interfere with personal and family time.

Pros

The guests were always lovely, and made the job fulfilling.

Cons

Management was awful, no support from them. Favoritism, enabling one person something but not the other. No structure; expectations and rules change by the day. Upper management turns a blind eye to misconduct and abuse of all forms. No loyalty from the company to its employees. Wage theft, illegal time clock adjustments, sexual harrassment from superiors, hostile work environment, all condoned by upper management.
