Serving IT project here for 1 year. The IT team is chill and understanding and get the work done. The hectic time is seasonal but not as bad as typical corporate hectic. Good Flexibility. Learned a lot on how govt works.

No major cons - Most staffs are contract but understandable because govt agency depending on govt money. Renewable if you do a good job. There are some politics but as an IT guy you probably wont bother about it.

Middle management is the backbone of the company — approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in their teams. They maintain good communication, foster collaboration, and help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly despite challenges at the top.

Senior leadership lacks clear vision and alignment. Decision-making often feels disconnected from ground realities, leading to confusion and inconsistent priorities. Their limited engagement with employees affects motivation and trust across departments.
