Thank you for taking the time to share this. It’s not easy to read, but it’s important that we do. As CEO, the culture and experience at CreateFuture ultimately sit with me, and I’m genuinely sorry that this has been your experience.
The last 18 months have been a period of significant change for the business. We’ve evolved from primarily embedded teams into a broader consulting organisation that owns outcomes and delivers transformation for our clients. Combined with a tougher UK market and increased external cost pressures, that shift has placed internal strain. Those realities don’t excuse how you’ve felt — but they are part of the context we’ve been navigating.
You’ve raised concerns around leadership visibility, technical alignment, progression, compensation and fairness. These are not new themes to us — they’ve been reflected in our eNPS data too — and we’ve been taking action on that feedback:
Over the past year, we’ve:
- Introduced clearer role frameworks and progression criteria
- Completed salary and benefits benchmarking and made banding adjustments across the business
- Delivered 100 promotions or salary updates in the last nine months
- Rolled out a company-wide AI skills programme and increased learning investment
- Improved feedback and performance processes to make development conversations more consistent, fair and constructive
- Paid a company-wide bonus, with the leadership team stepping back from participation - even in a year where we had to postpone the inflationary pay rise due to the impact of the National Insurance rises
These are just some of the improvements we've been making, alongside others that focus on business maturity, processes, and, of course, our Creatrs.
But it’s clear from your review that not everyone has benefited from these changes, and that’s something we need to fix. Strengthening our culture is a core part of our next phase: improving communication, rebuilding trust, and ensuring that fairness, growth and respect are not just intentions but lived experiences for everyone here.
Our people are at the heart of CreateFuture. When someone feels undervalued or disconnected, it means we have more work to do — and I’m committed, along with the leadership team, to doing that work.
Thank you again for the honesty. It helps us improve. If you feel comfortable discussing the feedback directly - with me or your People Partner - the door is always open. We would welcome the opportunity to improve further with your assistance.
