Pros

1. virtual and remote work options. 2. minimal supervision

Cons

1. lack of adequate training 2. hostile work environment if you do not "code switch" iykyk 3. start up coming with inexperienced leadership and small budget which puts pressures on employees to cover expenses and beg clients to stay 4. this is not a 9-5 job. Meetings can be as late as 9 or 10pm and as early as 7am. You are on-call 24/7...weekends, holidays, year round 5. extremely low pay. pay is dependent upon the number of clients you have week to week which varies if there is a holiday, school break, vacation etc. 6. sales marketing job disguised as academic coaching

Pros

Creating positive futures has one of the best company cultures I've ever been a part of- the leadership team is very involved with their staff and puts great effort into their onboarding and extended learning. Not only that, but they persistently met with myself and the other coaches to troubleshoot student issues and develop solutions that were repeatable for future students. I reccomend CPF to anyone looking to work with students in a coaching/advising capacity, it's a great group of people!

Cons

Nothing much to say here- only feedback would be to centralize more of your coaching resources/tools in one place! Other than that I can't think of anything, y'all rock
