Thanks so much for your work, I’d be happy to recommend you at any future position with beyond glowing reviews. I hear you on not having a robust HR department. The fact is, we’re a small business and to hire an additional salary for a dedicated HR person simply isn’t the reality of a 17 person company. Our make-up is 9 male employees and 8 female so I understand that there are more men than women in the office and I try to be as inclusive as possible when hiring. Additionally, Emily in accounting is now available for all concerns from female employees if there is something specific and has re-organized our employee manual, and as always people can come to me directly. I agree on bad apples, and sometimes they are our reality as an employer. We seem to be a happy bunch now, and strive to nip bad attitudes in the bud.
