Pros
Good Pay Nice office Great coworkers, nice people
Cons
Was initially brought in for a full-time junior data engineering role and was told I would get the opportunity to learn and grow. From the 1st day, I was micromanaged relentlessly and expected to produce unclear results. I was forced to constantly walk on eggshells with my manager without clear direction or guidance. I was brough onto a team with only one other individual and we had lost a major contract as soon as I started. Could not discuss unreasonable expectations and micromanagement with my manager who would hold grudges and make condescending passive-aggressive comments. I had 0 training and my only teammate was completely overworked. He and my manager only came into office once per week, while i was made to come in 3-4 times a week. I was let go with abruptly with no warning or performance plan/PIP in less than a month. Performance expectations were never communicated to me, I wasn't given any notice of a probationary period when I was hired nor given time to earn my badge to access internal resources. I was not placed on any projects, but was told I was being let go due to "performance". It was an absolute nightmare working at Credence. I was severely underpaid, not given any mentorship or guidance (this was a Junior role), and was bullied and micromanaged by a horrible manager the whole time I was there.
