Pros

-- CEO and founder is inspirational and passionate about ethical AI.

Cons

-- CEO and founder is prone to knee-jerk decisions that don't take into account the business risk & reward. -- Her mood varies hugely by time of day; am she is delightful pm she lacks many of the otherwise positive traits. She declined to read references such as Daniel Pink's book When to help open her eyes for this. -- Co-founder and CTO openly questions direction of the company. -- Company seeks to bring humanity to AI but treats employees inhumanely including in use of abusive language directed at staff for seemingly the most minor of infractions despite staff putting in 10+ hour days 6 days a week. -- CEO is very concerned about her public image as a celebrity CEO and fails at time to differentiate between the company marketing and her personal profile. -- Company is attempting to sell to US public sector agencies and their system integrators, with one executive seeking a U.S. security clearance, but has immature protections for data security even by. the low standards for data security of Silicon Valley seed stage startups.

Pros

Credo AI is one of those rare startups truly driven by purpose. The mission — bringing responsibility, governance, and trust to the rapidly evolving AI space — isn’t just a tagline, it shapes everything the company does. The culture is strong and genuine: leadership deeply cares about the team, invests in people, and creates an environment where everyone can contribute meaningfully. The talent density here is incredible — you get to work with brilliant, passionate individuals who are all aligned on making a real impact in the world. Like any startup, Credo AI isn’t for everyone. To succeed here, you need to be adaptable, have an ownership mindset. The bar is high — performance standards are rigorous and the pace is fast. This is the right place for those who are committed to continuous learning and improvement, and who want to be part of something transformative in the AI industry.

Cons

Like any startup, lots to do , fast .
