Pros

Crest is a truly enjoyable company to work for. The company very much invests in its employees with modern working environments and excellent opportunities for job progression and job support through training courses and in-house CPD. The management structure is very flat and because the offices are relatively small there is ample opportunity for more junior members of staff to interact with directors on a daily basis, which creates a very open working environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged. The company attracts very capable and friendly individuals which creates a fantastic working environment. Crest is very responsive to market conditions and is very forward thinking; something which surprised me for a company which has been around for more than 50 years. The work is rewarding and I genuinely feel my contributions are valued. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Cons

Can't really think of any! Perhaps being picky; most of the senior management are white, middle-class males, although this does seem typical of a lot of companies. As a woman however I don't feel like I have been given any less opportunity or seen any less favourably than my male counterparts. Crest does have a very even split of men and women at more junior levels (in the offices at least rather than on site) and the company does seem keen to tackle the issue of women not being in many of the senior roles. N.B A previous review mentioned high turnover of staff. Turnover does not seem to be any higher than any other large company, but what is noticeable is that staff who don't perform (or just aren't very good) are quite quickly given the boot! It does mean that the staff who are left are generally all very bright, capable individuals.
