Pros

Excellent training program and curriculum. Very professional and knowledgeable Instructors. Coworkers were pleasant to work with and the company social events-built rapport company-wide. Salary was competitive and my work-life balance met the demands of the job.

Cons

Changes in management "economic conditions" caused the company to lay off many of its employees. First, it became obvious that since the company began losing money, they started to push product offerings that generated profit at the expense of creating curriculum redundancy. GPIs got anxious out of speculation of layoffs but were told that there was nothing to be concerned about. Then, the day came when close to 20 high performing employees lost their job within a 30 minute meeting with no eligibility for rehire. It hurt to feel so kicked to the curb after making so many significant contributions to a company that promotes in their guiding philosophy "Care, Welfare, Safety and Security." Lack of communication that led up to this point disrupted the trust of many of the current staff and reduced staff morale.
