Poor management, lack of communication between departments and within departments. Any changes take months to initiate, difficult to move up, very much run by a few people who bend rules and make life difficult for people who they dislike. Terrible food hygiene standards for food given to staff. Management does little to no visible work, little to no accountability for management. Has a 'it's not my department so it's not my responsibility' attitude that carries from management down to workers. As with many casinos I'm sure it is shift work that occurs 24/7 and in food and beverage there is no consistency to shifts and NO overtime. That is they will not let you do overtime despite other departments getting overtime. Absolutely no transparency to managent decisions, purposefully leaving staff members in the dark about management decisions and encouraging staff to 'dob eachother in' and then penilising all parties involved. Additionally there is rampant favouritism, particularly to people related to one another or persons in romantic relationships, incredibly unprofessional.
