Pros

Lovely people; everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Cons

Poor management with little understanding or support for employees' health issues. Experienced micromanagement and poor work allocation, often leaving me with nothing to do despite raising the issue multiple times. Management was inflexible and unsupportive. The company’s equality, diversity, and inclusion policy felt performative and not genuinely implemented. Leadership was dominated by a non-inclusive and biased mindset, making it a very uncomfortable work environment, especially for women. Not a LGBTQ+ friendly workplace

Pros

-Interesting and technically challenging projects across a range of industries -Many friendly and knowledgeable colleagues who are enjoyable to work with -Great office location with a pleasant working environment

Cons

- Management can be very cliquey and employees may find it difficult to feel included if they are outside an established group -Hard work and strong performance are not always recognised or rewarded consistently -experience with management can feel highly critical and heavily focused on mistakes with little recognition of achievements or positive contributions -Raising concerns or offering a different perspective could feel difficult as conversations sometimes became defensive or escalated rather than encouraging open discussion - Although the company promotes an open-minded people-first culture - many experiences did not always align with those values. Policies and processes did not always feel consistently applied -Career progression opportunities can be limited -Salaries are average for comparable roles in the industry - There was a noticeable gap between the company’s messaging and how employee concerns were handled in practice - senior management can become less supportive and more critical/demoralising after you hand in your notice -they hire a lot of grads because they’re “cheaper”
