Pros

Plant is nice and clean and employees all take turns on cleaning so it stays that way!

Cons

Sometimes it is hot on the production floor but we have fans to cool us down.

Pros

Working there you become like part of the family. In the office at least, you were invited for lunches and included in some of the parties but only at the digressions of the VP or owner. Sometimes they would exclude you, if you weren’t on the popularity list. I did find the lunches when I was invited out to be very beneficial for getting to know your coworkers and colleagues, while working for the company. It made me feel needed and included. Therefore I wanted to give my all to the position and company. I was made to feel appreciated and apart of the family.

Cons

Unfortunately they do not include everyone in the company relationship building in regards to the warehouse/manufacturing side of the plant and office. There was a real divide between the office personnel and those working doing the hard labor out in the plant. I know for a fact that employees felt this divide and it created a “us versus them”, which shined poorly on employee wellbeing. The company also offered no breaks besides outside the mandated 30 minute lunch, which was unpaid, even if you worked through your lunch. Warehouse/manufacturing plant also had to work with no air conditioning or heat in the plant with 8 or more hot plastic injection presses during heated days outside over 100 degrees with no breaks, besides the 30 min lunch.

Pros

Umm I'll let you know

Cons

A co-worker recently got moved to material handler, then back down to machine operator for no good reason. It's hot, and sometimes fumey, and some pieces are large and heavy. There is no third shift premium. Everyone makes $9.50/hour.
